Michaele and Tareq Salahi are leaving Virginia and making their way to Beverly Hills.
You may know the Salahi couple from Bravo’s reality show “The Real Housewives of D.C.” and of course when Mr. and Mrs. Salahi crashed President Obama’s first state dinner at the White House in November 2009. The dinner was in honor of India’s Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh.
Rumor has it that the couple decided to move to Beverly Hills and closer to Hollywood to pursue their budding entertainment careers. They are not buying the house but rather leasing it, which might be a sign of their confidence in their success.
Sources also report that the couple is planning on having a baby. The Salahis are looking for a surrogate to carry their baby. The new Beverly Hills home appealed to them because it is in a safe community and has plenty of space for the potentially growing family.
Ironically the house they chose to lease is a Colonial style white house! The house was built in 1948 and has 5,500 square feet of space. It sits on approximately half acre lot. There are 6 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms.
The home is valued just under $3 million. The final negotiated lease amount is a healthy $20,000 a month.
