About Derek Heilbrun

Derek grew up in Burbank, accumulating insider knowledge of the Greater LA area. He comes from three generations of real estate professionals. The seed was initially planted when his grandfather, who escaped Nazi Germany as a teenager, fought alongside US forces before immigrating to the States after World War II. Recognizing the importance of building generational wealth, his grandfather acquired properties in the LA area while becoming a top-producing REALTORĀ® and broker. Derek proudly acknowledges that his grandfatherās inspirational story is why heās an agent today.
Derekās other passion, music, has found him working as a singer/songwriter in his free time. He loves to travel with his wife and spend time with their three cats. In addition, he enjoys cooking and doing weekend food pop-ups, playing chess, taking acting classes, and prioritizing an active lifestyle.
