6 Great Seafood Restaurants in Long Beach

A curated list of 6 Great Seafood Restaurants in Long Beach

Living on the coast affords Californians great access to fresh seafood, a cuisine that is not only good but good for you! Up and down the coast there are countless establishments serving up sensational seafood, and Long Beach is undoubtedly one such hotspot. Whether you are a crab lover, shrimp pasta aficionado, or a ceviche champion, our list of 6 Great Seafood Restaurants in Long Beach has a little something for everyone.

Seafood has a lot to love as a cuisine. From lobster and clam chowder to salmon, mahi-mahi, and delectable seafood pasta. Fish is affectionately known as brain food, thanks to its omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins D and B2. Plus, fish is loaded with calcium, phosphorus, and a great source of minerals, including zinc, iodine, magnesium, and potassium.

Update: Along with steakhouses, seafood restaurants are some of the hardest hit by inflation in 2022 with rapidly rising food costs leading to major menu changes. While Long Beach seafood restaurants are still some of the best in the country, they’ve had to reorganize their offerings to still profit without dramatically increasing their prices. Therefore, many of the prices and dishes discussed below are no longer accurate. Regardless, we stand by this list and the quality of the restaurants that made the cut!

Given the resolutions of many to eat healthier and live healthier in 2021, we decided to showcase some of the best spots to grab delicious seafood — and where better than the LBC itself! Long Beach has long been seafood heaven for Angelenos and even though sit-down dining continues to elude us, here are 6 Great Seafood Restaurants in Long Beach that are sure to tickle your tastebuds (in no particular order):

1. The Big Catch

The Cajun Pasta from The Big Catch is a very popular dish, and comes loaded with pork, sausage, shrimp, calamari, parmesan, garlic, green onion, and bell pepper.
