1) Thanksgiving Feast at the Sofitel Hotel

What is Thanksgiving without a feast? Eat, drink and be thankful at this lively event in Beverly Hills, California. The fun kicks off at 12pm and runs all the way to 7pm. The menu has our mouths watering already, featuring dishes such as creamy lobster mac-n-cheese, prime rib, butternut squash soup, and turkey—of course! Admission is $59 a person; $30 for children between ages 5 and 12. FREE for children under the age of 5. What a steal.

We promised things to do on Thanksgiving day, but we didn’t say they had to be related to the holiday! Prepare for your mind to be blown and your eyes to be jazzed. This Magical Chinese Lantern Festival is a highly rated annual Los Angeles event. It may not be a feast for your belly but it is a major feast for your eyes. Aside from a vibrant light show, this magical experience includes folk music, “mythical” creature rides for children (we’ll let you decode that one), savory food & drinks, and much more.

3) Six Flags Holiday in The Park

Make it a family affair! Six Flags is pulling out all the stops with no days off as they run their Daily “Holiday in the Park” promotion from November 23rd – January 5th. On Thursday, November 27th, Six Flags will be open from 10:30am to 9pm for your rollercoaster riding pleasure. In addition to the usual heart-stopping rides, they will also be sprinkling in some seasonal entertainment such as Snow Nights Show, Santa’s Cottage, a Holiday Square, Crafts with Mrs. Claus and even a S’more Fire Pit so you and the whole family can make a treat together around the fire.

4) LA Zoo Lights

This list would be nothing without this Los Angeles holiday tradition. From November 15th – January 5th, the Los Angeles Zoo offers up nightly tickets to a self-guided 60-90 minute light tour for only $14.95. Known as “A Wild Wonderland of Light,” this experience is a must-try favorite among tourists and locals alike since its debut in 2014. Let the lights lead the way in this unforgettable nighttime journey.

5) Aquarium of The Pacific Thanksgiving Lunch
