Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt has decided to rent out their mansion and estate to HBO for a Steven Soderbergh biopic of Liberace.
In a story we posted last month, their Bel Air home was listed for $14.9 million. But with no takers, they decided to rent the estate for 23 days this summer for at least $70,000 for filming of “Behind The Candelabra”. The Liberace movie will star Michael Douglas, Rob Lowe and Matt Damon.
The home was put into notice of foreclosure earlier this year due to debts from Gabor’s medical bills.
The home has hosted many political and Hollywood stars like Ronald Reagan, Frank Sinatra, Liz Taylor, and more.
