Dennis Quaid’s Los Angeles Ranch Enters Escrow!!


After seven months on the market, Dennis Quaid’s Mandeville Canyon Estate begins to look like it will sell!

The 1.96 Acre Ranch (yes it is horse friendly), located between the Pacific Palisades and West Los Angeles (For sale: 14223 Evans Rd, Pacific Palisades, CA), is reportedly in escrow for roughly $10 million dollars.  Originally listed in March 2011, for an asking price of $16,900,000.00, the Quaids have decided to part ways with the property for considerably less.  Why?  Simple:  They paid $1,830,000.00 for the property back in 1999!!!

This means that even right now, when the market is at a massive low, they are about to make a profit of over $8 Mil on this sale!!

Designed in a French Country style, the estate boasts 8,400 Sq.Ft. in the main house, with 8 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms (not counting a 2 br x 1ba staff suite over the home gym, for the staff!!!).  As if this wasn’t enough room, the estate also contains a 2,158 Sq.Ft. guest house complete with its own kitchen, dining room, living room, etc!

Last but not least, we cannot forget our Hey inclined friends the horses!  For them there is a seperate barn/stable, coral, and a private trail connecting them to the Will Rogers State Historic Park!

All-in-all this place is magnificent! And JohnHart wishes the Quaid’s well on their reported move to Hawaii!!
