About Debra Mitchell-Adams
Debra Mitchell-Adams has been in the real estate business since 2005. Prior to becoming a Real Estate Broker Debra was an Executive Assistant at Warner Bros. During this time she and her husband decided to buy a house. It was in the front seat of her Realtor’s car that she had what Oprah would call an “ah ha moment.” Everyone in her family owned a home. Her parents, grandparents on both sides and all of her mother and father’s siblings (16 between the two of them) and not one of them ever educated her on the process of buying a home! At that moment Debra found her purpose and discovered a way to redirect her career path into a role where she could make a difference.
Debra has spent the last 11 years helping people from all walks of life buy and sell real estate. From first-time buyers who have no idea about the process of buying a home, to investors who want to renovate and sell or “flip” properties, to sellers who want to move up to their dream home or sellers who want to move down to a smaller home (empty nesters), or representing sellers with more somber life events like death, divorce or an impending foreclosure or short sale.
Real estate is a very dynamic profession, because life is always happening and everyone needs a place to call home. Every person or family that Debra has had the pleasure of working with has added value to her life. From each of her client’s experiences she’s taken away something that has made her a better person and a better Realtor. Today Debra’s career goals remain the same as they were when she began her career in real estate. To continue to educate home buyers and sellers on the ever changing world of real estate and to help as many people as she can achieve their real estate goals.
