Rumors were flying that Playboy Mansion would not be sold to businessman Darren Metropoulous, but sources confirmed that this was a fabrication. It seems that way because the Playboy Mansion has been sold for $100 million. The original asking price for the estate was $200 million, but I guess they came to terms and settled for half. Both parties also agreed to let Hugh reside in the mansion until his death; however, he has to pay $1 million rent annually. I guess that’s a win for the new owner because he will be getting some sort of income from the home.

Darren Metropoulous owns the property next door that once belonged to Hugh’s first wife and children. After he purchased that property, he had his eyes set on the mansion because he wants to combine both properties. By doing so, he will be living on 7.3 acres with a pool, a zoo, gardens, tennis court, etc. Good for you Darren, enjoy the Playboy Mansion.
