You may recall about a month ago that we hosted a Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament to raise funds for Toys For Teens and City of Hope.  Thanks to all of your generous donations and participation, we were able to raise a great deal of money!

After looking at many different toys to donate, using the funds raised,  we’re proud to announce that we have partnered with Barnes & Noble to make your money go even further!

On top of giving us an amazing deal on the Tablets (so that we could purchase as many as possible), Barnes & Noble went above and beyond by donating cases/covers for each of the units as well!

The goal of the charity poker tournament, was to raise funds with which we could purchase toys to give to teens suffering from Cancer at City of Hope.  Why toys?  Simply because there is plenty of funding for research, and we wanted to bring actual joy to the teens themselves.

Furthermore, above and beyond the idea of a giving a toy, the nook tablet will allow these teens to access the internet, read books, do research, listen to music, or simply play games with each other.  The combination of features the nook presents and the level or care we received at Barnes & Noble ultimately was the determining factor for choosing this product, and we hope you all are happy with the choice!

As of now the nooks have been purchased and are being packaged for delivery!

We are always looking for motivated real estate agents and brokers who are interested in helping us further our cause of giving back to the community, so if you are interested in participating in our next charitable event, please give us a ring at 818-839-6651.

Last but not least, to all who participated in this event/project:

Thank You So Much!
